DebtHammer is on a mission to help the millions of Americans who are stuck in debt. Over 14 million US residents have over $10,000 in credit card debt, and DebtHammer offers a solution to help people get out of it.


We’re off to a good start, and are growing rapidly. To turbo-charge this growth, we are looking for a VP of Sales to bring us from 10 to 100+ sales reps in order to help even more people escape the debt trap.


Overview

As VP of Sales, you will report directly to the CEO, and your mission is clear: drive revenue growth by scaling our Sales Organization to unprecedented levels while maintaining excellence in conversion rates and employee performance metrics.


You will spearhead the expansion, establish standards of excellence for culture, sales processes, compliance, and industry best practices, and contribute to iterating and enhancing our DebtHammer sales funnel. Your ultimate goal is to build and develop a high-performing team, optimize call cadences and drip campaigns, create persuasive scripts, overcome objections, and ensure proper staffing.


Your leadership will be pivotal in training and developing Team Leads and Sales Managers to propel our organization to new heights, and most importantly, helping thousands of people get on a better financial path.

  • Set high standards of excellence for our team, ensuring adherence to sales processes, compliance regulations, and industry best practices.

  • Continuously improve conversion rates by driving the development and enhancement of our DebtHammer sales funnel.

  • Optimize call cadences, drip campaigns, scripting, and objection handling techniques to maximize sales effectiveness.

  • Ensure proper staffing levels and provide guidance on team structure to drive productivity and efficiency.

  • Train and develop Team Leads and Sales Managers, empowering them to excel in their roles and foster growth within their teams.

  • Generate sensible, realistic, and practical solutions to challenges that arise, demonstrating pragmatism in decision-making.


Criteria:

As VP of Sales, you should have extensive experience in the following:

  • Experience Growing and Leading High Volume Sales Teams: This ain’t your first rodeo. You’ve built and run large, high-volume sales teams with a history of excellence. You have implemented systems, processes and training frameworks needed to grow and operate a high-performing sales organization.

  • High Volume Sales Operations: This is a high volume game, and as such, you’ll be responsible for optimizing things like staffing, call cadences, follow-up campaigns, and rep skilling.

  • Performance Management: Foster a culture of accountability through a fair and direct performance management system. Provide praise, recognition, and constructive criticism to drive continuous improvement.

  • Leadership Vision: Provide a clear and credible vision and strategy for the Sales Organization, inspiring others to follow your lead.

  • Motivational Enthusiasm/Passion: Exhibit a dynamic and positive attitude, infusing enthusiasm and passion into your work and inspiring all sales team members to do the same.
